The Youth Ag-Summit 2013

The Youth Ag-Summit was launched back in 2013 and took place in Calgary, Canada. It was born out of a long thinking process with different stakeholders involved.

Our aim was to create a unique platform for the next generation where they come together with great thinkers to help solve global food challenges. For the first Summit which was organised together with the Canadian youth ag-organisation 4-H, 120 young people from 27 countries spent a memorable week in Canada and worked on a joint Declaration to drive change. On an individual level, each delegate formulated his or her “3 little things” – individual challenges which they take home to make a difference.
